I'm guessing your card looks like this: http://i3.ebayimg.com/05/i/000/ef/a7/ac1e_1.JPG Between 1991 and 1994 a set was produced in three series using pictures taken by Charles Conlon of the Sporting News between 1904 and 1942. The 1927 on the card is the year the photo was taken. Your card is actually from 1994. There were over 1000 cards in the set and the commons could easily be found for $1.00
